I thought I was going to have to buy a new couch! The handle to release the foot rest on my sofa came off in my hand the other day. I immediately got out the paperwork from when it was purchased to sadly find the warranty had just expired. I got on the internet to see if this was something my husband could fix. I found this product and had it within 2 days. It took my husband about 5 minutes to unhook the sectional sofa and install this. It works great!

As others have said, this thing is amazing! I broke the handle on my recliner, so after reading the reviews I ordered this one. It really has made opening the recliner so much easier after replacing. Someone mentioned replacing the opposite side recliner on their couch although it wasn't broken because of how much easier this new one is, and I'm seriously considering doing the same thing!

Some sofas might not be as accessible, but for us it was a piece of cake. And at the price, even if it only lasts a year or two I still won't be disappointed.

Worked great! We purchased this for our Ashley Leather Reclining Sofa. My husband had no problem installing it and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. It makes me wish we had done it a lot sooner, instead of waiting until we were going to sell the recliner.
