For years I've had a problem with my blood sugar spiking wildly and dipping very low the following day. 225+ followed by 55 or less the next day.
Glucerna took care of this in less than a week. I now drink one as soon as I get up and my blood sugar now falls between 90 to 140 as an average.
I like the chocolate....wasn't a fan of the vanilla or the (yecchh) strawberry.

Big fan of this shake, it tastes "˜almost' as good as a real shake. I've tried the Chocolate, and Vanilla which I really like a lot (particularly the vanilla). I would stay away from the Strawberry if you're worried about how sweet this shake will be, it's super sweet. In fact all of these have a pretty good level of sweetness to them, but don't stress too much they've formulated these to lower your blood sugar so as a diabetic you'll be okay.
One complaint that I have is because of the sweetness factor, while I love drinking it, it actually activates my appetite and makes me want to eat more! I know this seems counter-intuitive, because it's a meal replacement shake "“ but if you're like me (and I'm sure many of you are) once you start drinking a chocolate shake or something sweet you want to eat other snacks. The only way I've found to limit that is by taking a natural appetite suppressant like this one"“ I take it with the shake and 10-20 min later I'm not only satisfied from the shake, but I'm not craving to eat a bunch of other stuff because my appetite is under control. I've been really trying to change my lifestyle over the past year, and I commend everyone here who's actively trying to take control. Weight loss is possible, and so is a better quality of life even if you have diabetes. Take control! You can do it.
