Overall, they work.
These do not require the Sengled hub.
These work with Amazon's Echo Plus. You will not be able to connect more than 4 without putting them into pairing mode (flip the light switch on 10 times quickly, they should start blinking, shut the light off, click "discover devices" than turn it back on). This will fix that problem 100%.
This ARE dimmable. "Dimmer incompatible" refers to sliding switches. You will not be able to dim with a dimmer switch, but through Alexa and the App, you definitely can. Out of 10 I'm using, all 10 have a decent range. They are not 1,2,3,4,5% like the phillips hue, but they are fairly functional. Probably 5% per step.
IF YOU PLAN TO USE WITH Sengled HUB: Don't. Their software is garbage, look at the reviews on the app store. There are 3 separate apps, and they all have about 2.5/5 rating for a reason. If you get it to work, don't forget your password as it WILL NOT send you a password reset link.
Customer service is subpar at best.
Setup description and details on how to get it to go into pairing mode or resetting them is 0/10 as there is no details included and the website makes this information hard to find.
Overall: If you really can't afford Phillips Hue, or want Daylight smart bulbs like me - you can use these. They're very cheap, and fully functional. I've got them in every room (until Phillips Hue comes out with a daylight bulb).
I'm not upset I bought them, as they are CHEAP and with CHEAP stuff you have to work harder. These are a pain to setup (if using more than 4 with Alexa). What do you expect?
Tech specs not included:
800 lumens
25,000 hours (LED)
Supports Zigbee HA 1.2.1 (google it)
-4F to -104F operating temperature (NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OUTDOOR USE in cold areas. In Chicago it get's below -4F sometimes and they do not function and 1 of 2 stopped working after)
9w (60w equiv)

These are a great product. Imagine smart LEDs for > $10!! The temp is like a soft white 60 watt IC bulb. I ordered the kit with the hub and 4 more Classic whites, but later added Samsung SmartThings Hub. Integration with both was easy. A tip on pairing with ST: upon pairing all bulbs, do it in the same room with the hub. To get the bulb in pairing mode, use a lamp that can be switched off/on 10 Times quickly. Remember what you name them and then move them to the room and fixture assigned. Once I did that I had no problems pairing and setting up on ST. I also added the bulbs and scenes to Google Home w/o problem and now use voice control with Google Home devices (or Google assistant App on my phone in rooms that don't have a Google Home smart speaker). Sengled also plants a tree for each bulb you buy and they even sent me a discount for future orders which will make these even more affordable.

Easy-peasy with Echo Plus (which has built-in Zigbee hub)
1) Unscrew existing light bulb
2) Screw in Sengled smart bulb
3) Say "Alexa, find devices"
4) Alexa says it might take a minute
5) Wait 30-60 seconds
6) Alexa says it found the device and gives it a default name
7) Open Alexa app on smartphone
8) Rename device (such as "back porch light")
9) Say "Alexa, turn on back porch light"
10) Light turns on
11) Kids are amazed
Also:
* Create "routines" in Alexa app to turn lights on and off based on a schedule
* Can control dimming (50%, 37%, etc.)
* Brightness - brighter than the 60-watt bulbs that were in the coach lights outside
* The lights are in covered spots outside and the weather here isn't severe, so can't speak to weather resistance of the bulbs

Awesome product.
Fix-it With Fran•November 4, 2017
We set these up to use with our Alexa/Google Home and Wink home automated system and they're working with no issue. The bulbs have been in place for over 2 months now and respond to both voice commands (via Wink and Echo) as well as the Wink app and automated schedule settings (sunrise, sunset and other timed programs). Unlike other bulbs that I've purchased that have to constantly have the skills reassigned, these have had no issues. I would purchase these again over any other brand.
Best Smart Bulb Around That Connects to ALEXA With a Hub.

I have purchased several of the Sengled light bulbs and have not been disappointed. Not only are they the least expensive bulbs of its kind, they are also well made and bright. I use mine with Alexa to light different rooms in my house. The set up is quite simple. You do need a hub in order to connect to Alexa. You can either use the Sengled hub or the Samsung Smartthings. Since I used the Smartthings, I did not need to download the Sengled app. You do need the app if you use their hub. All I had to do was screw them into the fixture I wanted to use, turn the light on, open Smartthings and ask it lo look for devices and within a matter of short seconds, the bulbs were indicating that they were connecting to the hub and viola, I was done. Once the bulbs appeared in the Smartthngs app, you can rename them to fit your needs. I named some of my bulbs "hall lights" because that is where I placed them. Connecting them to my Echo dot was also simple. All I did was have it look for device and they immediately appeared. now I can just turn them on and off by asking Alexa. The bulbs are also dimmable. You may either dim them on the Smartthings app or ask Alexa to dim them to 25% as I did or whatever you require. I do have to say that I found the bulbs to be very bright, and that is not a bad thing. Better too bright and you can dim than too dim that you cannot make brighter. Comparing them to the Cree lightbulbs that are equivalent to these, I much prefer the Sengled because from my experience, they were easier to connect to the hub. I had a heck of a hard time connecting the Cree to Smartthings even when the lamp was right next to the hub. I have also purchased TP-Link bulbs as well. The benefit with those is that you do not need a hub to connect to Alexa, but if you already have a hub that is compatible with the Sengled, I would highly recommend that you get the Sengled, simply because of the price. That my friends is the best part. I have not found a better priced bulb like this than the Sengled. As of this writing, they are $8.99!!! The Cree is more and the TP-Link, much more. I cannot say enough good things about these bulbs. Highly, highly recommend!
