it may keep things somewhat dry, but it did not lessen the jock itch issue for my son, who says it is persisting and has now gone to the doctor for stronger medication. in other words maybe it would be good for prevention for those who are prone to jock itch but perhaps not for making it go away once you have it. he also used an over the counter cream, and a medicated soap as well as this stuff. i will suggest he use all of these things as preventative care rather than healing something that has already cropped up
although the old stuff still worked fine. They now offer it in two packages

My last container of Zeasorb expired in 2008. Time to get a new one, although the old stuff still worked fine. They now offer it in two packages, one for jock itch and the other for athletes foot, but it's the same ingredient. Must be for marketing reasons. I only need to use it twice a day for 2 or 3 days, and the problem is gone. Buy whatever product is cheaper, and ignore the expiration date.

My wife has suffered from burning, oozing sores under her "folds" for years and this is the only product which has brought lasting relief. She uses Zeasorb after bathing which reduces the moisture and helps heal the yeast infections which seem to reoccur without it. Great product!

The Zeasorb Antifungal Treatment is a very good product. I developed a little bit of Jock Itch and it was very frustrating to always be scratching the crotch area because it was very itchy, now I don't have to worry about that anymore. Another thing that I love about this powder is that I can just apply it and wear underwear without any problems. With ointments, it's a bit self-defeating to wear underwear after applying it. FYI I used this product in conjunction with BLUE STAR OINTMENT. I recommend using both of them (not necessarily together but it can be done).

An actual dermatologist recommended this product to me, mainly for the prevention and maintenance of a couple of areas, and after a month or two of use, it's working great. Other reviewers may have mentioned this trick, but I use a hair dryer to dry the area well, then apply this powder. Now as far as curing something bad, I can't say for certain, but it's a wonderful product for continued prevention and maintenance. I also use the powder in my socks, and it's working well there too.
