Nice looking toilet, flushes well but low flow leads to a messy bowl.

Have had two of these toilets installed for a couple of months. My husband was able to figure out installation without trouble. Haven't had a single clog, hooray! But we have to scrub the bowl much more frequently than our old toilet because this toilet is so low-flow and low-fill. i.e. the waste sits in contact with the side of the bowl and streaks remain even after flushing. Wasn't expecting this problem, as we were much more focused on finding a toiled we didn't have to continually plunge. Success on that front but now this new problem, which goes to show, it's always something!

I'm not in the habit of waxing poetic over a commode, but this modern toilet qualifies as sculpture for its clean, contemporary style. It incorporates new technology. It uses less water. The bowl is coated with a grit-loosening finish, and when you flush, the water swirls entirely around the bowl 360 degrees. I also like the two-part handle. Press the larger part for more water action for bigger jobs. Press the smaller part for smaller jobs so you don't waste water. Works great.

I have to admit I am a fan of TOTO toilet. Every bathroom in my houses is equipped with one.
This particular one is fantastic as it has a powerful swirling water which, together with the special coating, keeps the bowl clean. I am not sure why some reviews stated otherwise. Perhaps as everybody's diet and health system vary, our waste products are different. I do keep a toilet cleaner tablet hanging inside the tank to add more cleaning and disinfecting power to the flush water. Perhaps that makes a difference.
Finally, I also love its understated good look. It very subtly adds to the interior design of the bathroom.

Did a bath remodel and really didn't want to replace the toilet but everything else was so nice and new just had to do it and I'm glad I did. This thing is a small footprint but a full size toilet and the cyclone flush is the best; keeps the bowl clean!
