These shoe aerators are not worth the money

These shoes are terrible. The straps will NOT hold regardless of HOW HARD you cinch. I literally took 10 steps and the left shoe came right off and punctured the shoe i was wearing. Once I got it back on and double checked my right foot the spikes on the right foot broke. I am including a picture of the shoes.
I work in lawn equipment sales (i.e. aerators, tillers, cultivators. trimmers/edgers/weed eaters...lawn tractors, spreader, etc...)and have long heard these are worth while.
I would NOT purchase these again.

Don't buy these. Walked no more than 20 steps and the spikes started breaking off the plastic sole. In 50 steps I'd broken 5. A total waste of money.

Let me start by saying my lawn floods like a swamp and turns gross. Grass dies and I rent. Appealed a lot to get it fixed but they ignore me so I decide to try this and seed, it worked so beautifully. Now I'm getting some growth and this is a small tool I can store away in it's box for when I need it like spot touch ups. It does feel weird to wear them but of course it is. The results are great.

These lawn aerator shoes shipped fast and came with all the parts needed to assemble. They were very easy to put together and all materials seem very sturdy and of good quality. They were nice and big to fit my husband's size 11 feet when he mows the lawn. We have been battling moles in our yard for a couple of years now and needed something to press down their mole tunnels without compacting our lawn. These worked perfect this weekend when my hubby mowed. Now to figure out how to get rid of the darn moles!
