Slippery When Wet - Wear Gloves

Heed the warnings from everyone else that this tape is slippery when wet. If you're using riding gloves as you should though, it's no big deal. It was easy to wrap this tape very smoothly and professionally. It takes quite a bit of force to break the tape, so that shouldn't happen unless you're pulling too hard. The shock absorption is quite good for the thickness of tape, and the pattern looks great. Aside from the fact that it gets slippery as you sweat, this is good tape. I used electrical tape instead of the finishing tape that is included, so I can't vouch for that. Buy it!

The bar tape is pretty easy to wrap and has a certain amount of flex so I can pull on it and give it a good tight wrap. The fabric material is very comfortable and has a good nice grip to it.
Easy to install. I suggest watching a utube video on installation to get the wrap direction correct.

I used this product on a Raleigh touring bike with the racing handlebar. I had plenty of the tape to complete the job and it was easy to apply. It provides a good grip when riding but not much in the way of padding. It looks good, just have to wait and see how long it will hold up.

I didn't buy this tape for the intended handlebar application, but to give myself a good, secure grip on my heavy, smooth laptop computer! Works great! Easy to stick on and peel off later when I want. Also serves to provide anti-slip bottom. Be sure not to cover cooling vents.
