This is an excellent book about the art of pool and the psychological techniques used in playing pool. The pool player is often thought of a hustler, who has a certain swag and is thought of as a hustler who has plays to win money and loves the game and the money he wins. Yates points out that 80% of the game is psychological.Once having learned the skill of the game, the table allows the player to do what is needed. The player not only has to assess the other player with his confidence and moves but does not get distracted. There is pressure, confrontation. money and sexy women with eyes upon the player. But if the player is adroit and plays the game as seriously as a pilot operates a plane, or a captain navigates a ship, the psychological discipline of winning, not only brings money but causes endorphin's to stimulate the feeling of greatness. That overwhelming feeling of the win is as if one met the person of their dreams and felt passionate and driven. The more one wins the greater that sensations arises and the more the player wins money/

Great book! Taught me a lot about the different styles of shooting, and made me better at aiming. Will definitely recommend to others interested in learning the game!
