It is tall enough which makes it a good stool to sit on. I am 6' 3" tall and a 7 gal bucket is better than a 5 gal bucket for me. It is a sturdy bucket I am 320 lbs. and have broken many chairs, LOL, however, I have not destroyed this bucket yet. It is a tuffnut! VERY durable. I keep this in the back of my pickup truck and it comes in handy for a lot of things and is always good for a stool that won't let you down also a stepping stool to get up high. I did take away one star because of the price. When I think about it I wonder how I lived this long with out this stool oh I mean bucket. : )

Better than a 5 gallon size bucket for those of us with old knees. Being taller helps a lot. Bought for back-country and emergency use. TP, wipes, extra bags, and water gel pouch all fit inside of the bucket, Price was steep for bucket, but my knees appreciate the taller size.
