Surprisingly bright, charges well, and does the trick. The light is bluish, if that matters to you. I put some yellowish film over it to warm up the tone, and it looks great. I have this illuminating the street numbers on my house, but it would be a great up light or even security light. Very versatile, and we'll see how well it stands up over time.

I bought these to light up my front door so i didn't have to leave my porch light on all day if i was going to be gone. Not to mention, with a porch light on you get dive bombed by moths and other bugs while trying to unlock the door! So the good... These spotlights come on and light up my porch while keeping said bugs farther away from me and the front door! Yay. The bad..After they didn't come on the first night after charging all day I moved them around quite a bit to make sure they were getting maximum sun and they still took 3 days to get charged enough to come on. I wouldn't call them bright lights either. More of a glow but these are my first solar lights so i don't have anything to compare them to. The amount of light works for my purposes though. If you're looking for really bright security type lights you may want to look for one with more led's.?

This is an amazingly terrific solar light. It's very easy to place or install and it works as described. You can tell looking at it that it's a quality product. I bought 3 sets and have placed it around the house as a security measure. It has saved me from hiring an electrician to install lights and a higher electric bill. The only question is it's longevity. It looks like it would last a long time. So far so good.

This is the best solar light I have ever bought by far the best. I have been buying solar lights for years. Some were good some were bad. It gives off 180 luminaries most decent solar lights are between 20 to 50. Sure you can buy solar lights that put out that high out put but your going to pay at least $60 dollars for one light. This light 4 of them are $40 and if you hit a sale they go for $20 for 4 of them. I live in So. Cal get plenty of sun. I have many solar lights in my back and front yard. These lights on high mode last longer than all my other solar lights. Not sure how long they stay on but at 2am they are still going strong. This is the best solar light I have ever bought and I have bought about 20 different brands. The color light is clear white not yellow. Have only had the lights for 2 months so can tell you how long they last.
