Purchased this for my 18mo old for in-flight entertainment. He enjoys it, especially the ability to make his master pieces go "bye-bye" with a simple push/pull of the erasing lever, which was easy for tiny hands to utilize. Great no mess, on the go alternative to the traditional crayons and coloring book. I also like that the pen is attached, so less likely to lose. Compact enough to fit in diaper bag.

My son loves this thing!! And it's super portable on car rides! Only down side is my 21 month old was able to get the pen off the string within 10 minutes of the first use. I read that in the comments but decided to get it anyway. I was able to pop open the "pen" far enough (don't force it all the way open or you will break it and then it won't close again) that I was able to reattach the pen to the string.

Not a bad starter doddle board! I bought this for my 16 month old boy who has just learnt to doodle. I bought a smaller size because 1) my baby sometimes throws up his toys 2) it is easy to travel with. My son plays with this a lot and I am happy with my purchase.
Colorful and fun, but the string wasn't strong enough

The kids love playing with it but unfortunately they were able to break the string from the pen on the first day. I was able to take the pen apart and hot glue the string back inside, which has held together thus far. Maybe that's an area of improvement for this item. Otherwise, the kids love it and especially love adding the colors to their doodles.

Purchased for our 18 month old for a road trip to the beach. It works but isn't as vibrant as the photos suggested. And the lines aren't as sharp. She was Interested in it when we first showed her but not anymore. It's a great size for travel though and for the price, I'm still glad we have it to bring to a restaurant, etc. even if it helps keep her busy for five mins I'll take it!
