Great Binos so far.

I can't believe these binos are only $49. I have only had these a week so I can't speak to how they will hold up over time but these binos are NOT the flimsy pieces of hollowed out plastic with lenses that are being sold for just as much and even more in some cases. I have a couple sets that fit good in one of my pouches but they are terrible... and one of them costs twice as much as these... and that was 10 years ago. I did not get these to use with my cell phone. So I don't know about the phone adapter, I'll probably never use that.
I have a lot of decent nikon and burris scopes ... and one high end scope that will not be named because it does not do any better a job than the less expensive scopes... but these binos give you just as decent a picture for the distances I have used them for. You will not be disappointed with these if you are a normal person who is not looking for fault in everything. Overall, very impressed so far.

An update after one nature hiking trip to West Rattlesnake mountain.
I pulled out this binocular when I got to the summit of West Rattlesnake mountain and once I get the image in focus I was absolutely stunned by what I saw. The image was razor sharp and the color was so vibrant. After testing this product out in my backyard I expect it to be good but in my first real life field test it blows away my expectation. And best of all it is so light and compact that I don't feel it hanging on my shoulder all of the time. I am going to Acadia National Park next week and I absolutely can not wait to see what this binocular can do for me. Again 12x magnification requires a proper hand holding technique so your left hand should be tucked into your body for proper support. Otherwise the image is a little jerky if you don't hold it properly. If they can put optical image stabilization like my camera lens on to this binocular now that would be a dream come true.

The binocular is beautifully designed and the image is the sharpest that I've ever seen from any binoculars that I've used in the past. I expect that this binocular will take my outdoor experience to a new level.

Don't waste your money. I bought these a gift for my father. Right out of the box they didn't work correctly. The image they show is double no matter how much they are adjusted. I have many pairs of binoculars in the past and none of them have had this problem. Unfortunalty for me I have past the return policy date because I bought them as a gift ahead of time. Do not make the same mistake I did and buy these.

They smell like cheap plastic, the cell phone attachment is difficult to use and usually results in poor quality pictures, they provide the same quality image as my wife's cheap ones. we were hoping these were an upgrade, but they are not. did I mention they smell bad?
