The eraser is kind of cheesy but it works. The chalk broke into 4 pieces when I used it the first time, without feeling like I was holding/pushing it too hard.
Maybe a bit for the cost -

Comes with chalk and eraser pad. No mounting screws which would've been nice. This product is not real slate. Looks nice, residual chalk marks that are easily cleaned with a damp wipe.
