Keeps Cat Out of Cabinets

I purchased these because one of my cats decided that she was going to get into my cabinets. They worked perfectly and I thoroughly enjoy watching her hang on the cabinet knob trying to open them. :-)

I bought these to use on garage cabinets I built from plywood. Unlike the photos, these are an antique brass color which does not matter for my application. The units are good quality. The magnet strength is very good and keeps the door securely shut. There are no mounting instructions with the catches but install is straight forward. I installed the magnet base first, placed the screw in the washer and attached it to the magnet. I shut the door against the protruding screw to mark the exact location to mount the washer. This way they are perfectly aligned. Slots in the magnet base allow for some fine adjustment.
