Item works pretty much, it just appears as if it was used or damaged prior to shipping. The box was kinda beat up and the item itself had scratches on it. Works though.

Ordered this to replace the one I ordered about 6 or 7 years ago, which worked wonderfully, but finally one of the wires broke. What I find curious is the inclusion of a "gift receipt" which indicates "From F'N'B" and the option to "send a Thank You Note." The product's box had clearly been opened, and I can't be certain that it's not a previously used item.

It is not the sturdiest egg slicer I've had, but for the price, it is fine. Functional and nice to be able to cut into slices or wedges. I'd probably shop for a bit sturdier one next time as the wires are already a bit loose after only a few uses. Still cuts though!
