Pros: These cubes are relatively easy to use. A product like this may be necessary if you are short on time, yet need the toilet to stay clean somehow.
There is no detectible odor once installed. Sometimes, there is a little light blue color to your toilet water. That's kinda nice.
Cons: I used gloves to open the packaging & the plastic around the cubes. Although the company states that this product is safe to use and will not damage your toilet valves and such, I am not sure I trust that the ingredients are not too harsh for my rubber ball in the toilet - that is already prone to wear and tear - my skin or the environment. More research on exact ingredients would assist me in solving this question.
I know something in the strong odor I can smell (a cleaning agent smell) tells me that there's probably harsh chemicals inside. Also, the color has got to be artificial. This may mean it's not good for living things.
All the packaging is not very sustainable either.
I don't know if I'd buy this product again. If the cubes were placed into a more sustainable package, and the ingredients proved okay, perhaps I would buy it. However, it seems to me that the individually-saran/plastic-wrapped cube may keep them from melding together upon contact? This is their problem to solve for the good of the environment, not mine.
I tend to stay away from harsh chemicals unless I absolutely must use them.

I'll stick to hand cleaning my toilet surfaces. At least I know then that the toilet is getting clean. This product is certainly no substitute for hand cleaning all surfaces.
