I've had these shoes for almost 2 months. I think it took about 2 weeks before I noticed a significant reduction in pain. I don't think it was due to break-in but more my foot getting accustomed to the new sole. I've had plantar fasciitis for 20 years and have tried many shoes and prosthetics. This shoe is better than them all in terms of pain relief. I literally think at the end of the day "Wow my feet are not hurting". Does it relieve 100% of the pain, no, but a significant reduction is felt. I bought my normal size of 10 1/2 and it fits well in the heel and across the width with no side pressure on ball and toes. I would say that the length could be a bit longer but it does not create an issue. I think the width of the front half is part of the reason for the relief. Your feet can lay flat and don't have to conform to the shape of the shoe. Cushioning is just right and not too soft to make them unstable. Thinking about their sandals now.....

Shoes are a little bit small at the arch of foot but they feel pretty good so I kept them also bottom of shoe seems a little harder than I'm used to but don't seem to be hurting my feet any.
