Good product

I've been looking for a good power strip / surge protector for a while now. I'm extremely happy that I decided to purchase this one! This is a great product since it does exactly what it says it will do. I recommend this power strip for everyone, especially if you have children! There are a lot of great features that I love about this power strip, let me break it down for you.

What I Liked:

"¢ The Design - I love how this power strip looks. It's clean, it's sleek, and it has spaces for 6 items!

"¢ Great Size "“ It's long enough to hold 6 items with good spacing, I can plug in bulky adaptors along with regular plugs. It's also compact enough to fit under a desk, table, or even behind an electronic device.

"¢ Child Safety - This is an excellent power strip if you are concerned about child safety. There are built-in outlet covers to protect a child from putting their finger (or an object) into an outlet. Plus, I don't have to worry about my children's safety because I can easily switch individual devices on and off, thus cutting off the power supply to a device. Also, I can tuck the strip behind my entertainment center or a device so my child won't even really notice it to begin with.

"¢ Good Quality "“ I've had this power strip for a couple of weeks now and I can say without a doubt it is durable and should last a very long time. I can tell this was made with heavy duty materials.

"¢ Saves Money "“ This is my favorite benefit! I can switch off devices that I am not using and it will save me money. I'm sure this power strip will pay for itself in no time, just with this benefit. Also, I live in Florida so I make sure all my electronic devices use a power strip, just in case there is a nearby lightning strike. This surge protector can help prevent a spike of power from destroying my TV or a video game console, which would save me a TON of money!

I had been looking for a replacement to our conventional power strip in our daughter's nursery for some time now, when I came across this. It is wxactly what I was hoping for! I love the individual on/off switches for each plug, as well as the built in plug guards to deter little ones from putting things in the sockets they shouldn't. Aesthetically, it is a simple clean design, and feels sturdy. If I need any other child safe power strips, I will pick up another one of these for sure.

Extremely pleased with this surge protector, one thing I like and find hard to find with others is the plug size and shape, meaning that this is one that fixes through small holes in the back of desks where others are angled and can't be shoved through. 2nd thing I like is the length of cord, it's a nice in-between size for 4' and 10'..lol It's a standard whit color witch is nice. Each socket has its own on off switch pulse the sockets have a special cover inside to prevent kids fingers from being poked in.

Generic packaging with minor information, but nothing stating the max protection from a surge ( would have been nice ),

Over all I am liking this product.

well I needed surge protector for my garage. So I am going to wall mount it and it will be low enough that smaller children could accidentally mess with it, so I I needed something safe for kids. So I decided on this cool surge protector and the price was just right also. The plugs are covered on each socket. So the only way to use and open the socket is to push hard on your device your using to plug in and the electrical outlet opens to your plug in device. Its hard enough that little kids cant stick something in there to shock themselves, thats nice its safe for my grand children. Next I hate on most other surge protectors that all the outlets on it are live all the time. This one has a lighted switch for each outlet, so I can leave everything plugged in and just turn on what I need to use most of the time. Leave the switch off for the device I hardly ever use. The surge protector is made out of heavy gauge plastic and seems very well made. I really like the extra long 7-8 foot plug in cord that looks like either 12-14 gauge wire, So very nice in the garage were I am using high amp tools like saws and sanders. It was pretty easy to hang as it has 2 cut outs so I could just screw it into my wall close to my back door where I only have electrical outlet, this opens up 6 more outlets in an area I only had 2. I will also purchase another one to replace my old worn out surge protector in my living room which runs my HDTV, THX Surround system, blu ray player, PS3, Dat recorder, Pandora 5 retro game box as this surge protector so much heavier duty over my current one I use.
