What a GPS Navigation Device Should Be

I gave it a 4/5 for Easy to use because the device contains some many functions, that the user must print out and read the entire users manual. Active touch screen leaves other GPS competitors in the dust. All parameters are adjustable. The free maps and traffic reports are accurate and traffic reports are timely. The GPS receiver is very fast. Device is up and operating as soon as the RV starts. This devices starts navigating without touch any buttons. Highly recommended.

I am familiar, I do not have to worry about weight restrictions being just under 5 tons, however I use it casue the tom tom seemed better at routing around tolls then Garmin or Rand, best keeps a motor carrier atlas if you need to know about weight restrictions no GPS is infallible.

I like almost everything about it. Speeding alert, self dimming,great suction mounting, lifetime maps, automatic updates, traffic cams. The things I did not like about it, that should be on a trucking GPS and are not, are 1. No state line approaching notify (this is on my other 2 non trucker GPS units) 2. no upcoming weigh station/permit location notify . The third thing I did not like about it, is the manual that came with it was not good at all, telephone help would not help until you agreed to purchase warranty and wanted your credit card number, and had foreign accents I could not understand anyway. It was a Christmas present and I am still online trying to find out how to use it.
