I, along with multiple other soldiers -male and female,used this for a month in Louisiana during multinational war fighting training. It was nicer than digging a hole everytime in the woods. You run out of spots to dig when hundreds of people are doing the same thing. It was worth it! Easy to keep clean, too.

Seems good quality for price. I like that the catching container/bucket has a flat bottom so that if the container is set on the ground it will not topple over (others are not all like that). But the disposal bucket naturally wants to tilt forward when empty. (I'm curious how it will work when actually having stuff inside.)
Two things I do NOT like:
-the whole unit is misshapen and does NOT sit flat on the ground until you sit on the toilet seat (workable but I definitely wasn't pleased). The box arrived totally demolished and lots of tape holding it together. I suspect the box was piled underneath many heavy objects in transit. I hope that it might rectify itself over time???
-we paid the extra money for the "canvas" bag. Do NOT waste your money on that part. Don't buy the bag, just don't. The thing barely fits in. Strains all seams and stains the zipper. I can squeeze it in but only just. I do not anticipate that the bag will last long. That portion of the purchase was disappointing.

I will update this posting if I like it less or more for any specific reasons.

This was exactly what we needed to avoid using a pit toilet at our vacation cabin. Comfortable, easy to carry and empty into the pit toilet, large bucket holds lots, and super easy to clean up. Worth it!

So perfect I bought 3 of these, mostly for camping, but I always keep one in the back of my mini van, just in case and btw I weight a ton! They last forever. Price too high though

We have used it multiple times on road trips now after having 3 weeks. The carry bag zipper broken reason for 4 star
