After nearly two years, I'm still in love with my bronze satin Redondo Player
some guy✓ Verified Purchase•May 8, 2024
Had my guy at the local music store do a setup. He took out a fret buzz and lowered the action. After that, it plays very well. The neck is comfortable to grasp. It's had different Ernie Ball Earthwood and SIT Pro strings, all of which sounded great. I've gigged with it a few times and it didn't disappoint me, not one iota.
Solid guitar for the price

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. To me, the sound is clear and bright. Its also balanced and projects very well. Unplugged, it is about as good as anything else in its price range; just maybe lacking a little warmth (compared to something costing twice as much). It really shines, however, with amplification. sounding very good with both picking and finger style playing. The electronics are simple and effective.
Playability is also very good. With the included strings, the action is medium/light. The neck is slim and fast; it looks and plays very much like a Strat. I can play some barre chords on it that I cannot on other steel string acoustics. There's a little bit of fret buzz at the bottom of the neck, but I rarely play down there anyway.
Craftsmanship is good on mine with no obvious flaws. The front is solid wood, but the sides are laminate (as you would expect at this price point). The painted finish looks unique and stunning to me.
In summary, I'd recommend the Rondo player as a solid buy for $400. It's well built, very playable, and clear sounding. It would probably be most appealing to someone who favors a Fender style neck and plays a lot with amplification.

I bought this for my granddaughter's 13 birthday. She sings and plays the guitar with two bands and she loves it.
I should have bought it in person.

I bought this because I have an addiction, but at least it's not drugs.
I found it in the sale and so after some thinking, I bought it. It came on time and in its original packaging. I saw a lot of people complain in the comments that it came with scratches on the finish, and mine was no exception. However, I purchased it in the middle of winter, not very smart on my end. It was moved out of a controlled warehouse into the cold and then left on my porch in the wind, It's just a buyer error. The tuner is a little off, and not exactly spot on. the preamp settings work great. I do recommend that you put new strings on it when you can.

Plays and sounds great out of the box

If you're looking for a pretty guitar with a clear, bright sound then look no further. The only Con is that it makes my Alverez dreadnought feel like I'm holding a baseball bat by the wrong end when I play now
