Anyone an 16/18 on bottom and 10/12 on top?

I'd love to trade my size 14 jacket (which really fits like a 10/12) to someone who has a 16/18 jacket... the skirts are true to size.
I bought this suit n 2 colors - black and the royal blue. It is lovely and the style is awesome. But, all the other reviews are accurate... the skirt is true to size and the jacket is WAY TOO SMALL if you are bigger than a B cup. The rib cage, sleeves, shoulders, etc all fit, but I have a 4 inch gap at the chest, which of course then pulls the jacket out of proportion and looks tacky when buttoned. To leave it unbuttoned, it drapes from the breasts, which means that 4 inch gap is pervasive. I'm seriously considering ordering 2 sizes up just for the jacket to fit, but then the skirt would fall off me.
Back it goes.

I have other MaryCraft dresses that I like a lot, so I ordered this skirt suit in size 10 like the other dresses I purchased. I normally wear a size 8 or 10. I am 5'5", weight 160, a D-Cup bustline and I have an hourglass shape (thin waist with larger bust and hips). The skirt fit perfect. Not too tight so it would've been perfect for work. The top was way too small - I couldn't even button it! If the skirt fits perfect in the waist, the jacket needs to fit the same waist plus be a little bigger because it fits over the skirt. It makes no sense it was designed this way. Buying another size wouldn't fix it (since it's a 2-piece set) so it had to be returned. Kind of a bummer, the material is a thick ponte-type knit that seems fairly high quality and wrinkle resistant - great for travel. If you have a pear shape body or straight up-and-down body type, maybe this will work for you, but size up one size.

The material is nice and very comfortable and rich in color. However, the suit was made as if the top was made for a different size than the skirt. The skirt fits loose and drapes perfectly across my hips. However, the top is tight in the chest and cannot even button. So, even if you are large chested with hourglass figure, you will love the skirt but not even have use for the top. I would have to be flat chested for the top to hang appropriately. Sleeves are long so I am not sure what body shape was used to create this outfit. I even had ordered the size larger than my regular size because of others' comments. It is sad because the material is nice, the style is flattering, but the size does not compliment the overall body figure. I kept the suit for the skirt because I can put it with other tops that are same material.
Buy it, buy it in multiple colors!

I am so impressed with this suit. I love the quality of the material and how thick it is. I don't believe it is dry clean only which means I can wash i t and wear it. One thing that I will say is the jacket is a bit more snug than the suit. It looks classic and feminine and I'm sure to have it for years to come.

This suit is not the same quality as the typical department store suits that cost $100 or more but the material is very good. It's soft and comfortable on the body. I suggest going a size down. I followed the sizing measurements but the suit was still too big. Especially the skirt. Due to the spandex, the suit has stretch to it. Something to keep in mind: I'm 5'8" and the suit fit me a bit longer than it did the model so petite ladies be aware. All in all, I would definately recommend it.
