Returning the robot because it didn't work. I tried everything and nothing. Very disappointed. If I could give it a zero I would. My son was very sad and dissapointed after being excited and waiting for it.

Fun for little ones

My 6-year-old has been begging for that little Cosmo robot (Anki Cozmo robot, robotics for kids and adults, learn coding and play games), so I thought this was a good compromise.
He's been having quite a bit of fun with it, but I can see him getting bored soon (so this one is the perfect price point for a little RC toy that's going to see on-and-off play).
He likes to have it run up behind you (it's loud enough that it's not really sneaky, but at the same time it's not so loud that you'll notice it if you're busy paying attention to something else), and the use the voice changer to shout at you in a weird squeaky robo-voice. It also dances and farts, which my kids think is the most hilarious thing ever.
The controller is simple enough for him and our little 3-year-old daughter to use, and works well enough. The robot itself rolls pretty well overall and has these little tank treads that are pretty effective, but does much better on the hardwood and tile floors, and even on the low-pile rugs than it does on the deep-pile ones -- it doesn't weigh much, so it doesn't get much traction there.

My niece is in a club at her school dedicated to learning about robotics and artificial intelligence.This turned out to be the perfect toy for her at the age she is at for this club. She and a friend who is also in the club had a play date where they played around with things they could do with this. It all makes me feel rather dumb. We didn't even have the simplest computers for home or school. In fact, not even my college had a robotics course. So not just a robotics toy to make kids today feel smart, but to make adults in their sixties feel dumb! Seriously, a very fine toy. Our future robot overlords will be delighted that we began teaching our children about their future coming betters so early in life.

This is a really adorable interactive toy, but please heed the choking hazard warning for small children and pets. Easy to set up and use. Really cute features and detailing. Love the oversized foam finger that you can put into motion. Can be useful as far as delivering tools or other items on tray. Child can talk to parents in a disguised voice. I would be careful about the spy ability. Some ground rules will have to be set up for that feature. Fairly durable. It also has an interactive blaster feature and includes a small ball. An amusing toy at an affordable price. The dogs don't quite know what to think of it yet. Not overly noisy. Fun for the parents to play with too.
