Plays well with my new 4K Samsung

Wanted to make sure that future purchases of DVDs with 4K capability could be used to full advantage, but since I already have 3 Blu-ray players, there was no need for a really big-dollar, multi-function unit. The Magnavox is small, simple and does just what it claims to do: give you a great picture with your 4K or Blu-ray movies. If you spend a bit more there are certain features that some folks will want "” but this was all I NEEDED. Time Weill tell just how long this "bargain basement" product lasts. Up moo now, it's doing just fine, thank you! 5☆☆☆☆☆
Good 4K player for a low price.

It does what you want it to do except there is no 3D capability. I've played several DVDs and only one rental had a small glitch where I had to brush it off to stop if from skipping. Much better than the last blue ray player I owned.

This product is just what I was looking for. No smart functions at all, just a small compact 4K UHD Blu Ray DVD Player. This unit plays back excellent quality video and I can't complain about anything,

This Blue Ray player is excellent for what I needed. And the price is perfect. I just wanted to pay both 4k and regular DVD's on my 61 inch Samsung and it does it perfectly. Also has audio output that go to my surround sound system.

In the age of smart tvs i was INTENTIONALLY looking for a unit without streaming capabilitys. It plays 4k blurrays and the menu's look modern and wouldn't look out of place in a high end av setup. It has one hdmi that handles all video and multi channel audio. My only complaint is that the remote is VERY SMALL, it is about 3/4 of the size as a north American outlet wall plate. But it gets the job done. I should also mention it can stream video from a local media server like a plex server, although this can only be done thru a wired connection.
