One of My Favorite Purchases During Pandemic!

I am an adult and I have used this bracelet maker at least every Friday night for over 3 months and counting. It has only hung up once and I went to the website to find out how to easily fix it. (I think it was my fault bc I had everything loaded and left it with tension on it for quite a while. It hasn't happened again.)
It does come with a certain type of string that's pretty but its thickness requires the use of bulky fasteners that do come with it. For me, I would only use it for maybe an ID lanyard.
My preference has been to use embroidery floss or a product called "Friendship Bracelet String", which is a twisted string. Using either of those enables me to just tie a good square knot and it works great. (Some have used a different type with two knots that slide which enables them to take the anklet off and on.) Just empty at least 8 spools and you can refill them with whatever you like. I find that it's best to measure each string for each project and use just that amount.
I have made bracelets and ankle bracelets for me and every friend who wanted one and mailed it to them! I've gotten lots of pleasure from it!

It's pretty entertaining and easy to use once you get the hang of it. I think the only reason why I did not give the full 5 stars is because I feel is a waste that cannot reuse the leftover string when your done with your bracelet specially if its for someone with a super small wrist.
Fun crafting project

My daughter LOVES this! My only complaint is that the clasp pieces of the bracelet are made of plastic and have broke/come off which then ruins her bracelet that she spent time on making. Would be nicer if they were metal
Cute gift

My daughter asked for this for her birthday and she loved it. She made everyone bracelets right away. The plastic clasps are a little cheap, but they hold just fine
Fun to use

I'm 10 years old and made 3 ankle bracelets and 1 wrist bracelet with the regular string by myself. When I first started spinning the handle it was hard to spin and felt like it was jamming so I read the instructions more carefully and it said to flip the white arm tab down so that it would pull the bracelet up as I made it then it worked way better. I figured out that I can use embroidery thread instead of the spooled string that comes with the kit as long as you tie a knot at the end of the embroidery thread and roll the string on the bobbin. You can also use tape instead of the clasp stickers. The only downside is you can't get more of the clasps or end caps unless you buy the refill pack.
