These are not very bright but thy was the whole point for me. I have plenty of other light in my motorhome so I just wanted some dim reading lights. Works great for me.
You do have to cut your mounting surface in order to fit. You must recess the dome that makes the light move and the switch. Wasnt too bad.

The led bulb can be replaced without having to replace the entire unit

We had every reading light fail at the same time in our motorhome. The original units were a sealed unit with no way to replace the bulbs only. These new ones are wonderful. if the bulb goes bad it can be replaced. We're thrilled .
