It is always wisest to contact your physician first before trying any mail order test. One advantage to those from "Lets Get Checked" is that they are completely confidential and there are many reasons for keeping some information private from your permanent health records. I had a test recently for an entirely different type of test than this one. It was reliable and has recently been widely advertised to help patients avoid an invasive minor surgery just to get a test result.
Thus, it is generally a positive trend that mail order testing is coming of age. I'm impressed by the professionalism of the various tests offered by Lets Get Checked and am personally confident in the reliability of the results.
