These are going to work great for my 11 year old grandson. He wears a big boys size 5 shoe. I purchased the medium for my 8 year old who wears a big boys size 2 shoe. The 9/11's would have been huge on him - the 7/8 1/2's should be perfect. Washed and dried nicely.
