It holds on strong. I've probably been using it for almost a year if not longer and it's never even come loose.
Came with plenty of sticky things too. Although my one complaint is that it's very long but bendy so if you have it back towards your helmet, there's a lot going on on that side of the helmet. But it definitely works as it should.

Just mounted this today with the hero 8 black looking to do some riding on Memorial Day! This feels very strong and sturdy. It's pretty simple to install I just went by the pictures to get an idea. Wish they had a web site with bigger install pictures. One issue I ran into(no fault of the product) is my helmet has a slight rubber coating however so I had to sand it down a bit to ensure better adhesion. Love this mount it's cheap, effective, and functional. Only thing is I do wish they included another angled mount so that if you have two helmets with curved surface you could easily swap the mount.

I've been using a chin mount on my old helmet for a couple years and I like the chin mount the best because of it's 1st person perspective. My first helmet mount on that same old helmet was on top and not only did it make the helmet look weird, the video did not give as good a feeling of realism (1st person view) like a chin mounted camera does. One more thing, If you don't like your camera blocking your chin vents you can mount it off to one side with the front of the camera parallel with the center of the chin guard so that the camera still captures things on the opposite side of the helmet. This is what I did and I still get air flow through my chin vents.
That's a big plus! It looks good and the video looks good and it's only a couple inches difference from mounting it directly in the center of the chin, as shown in the pic for it. Oh, the safety strap is a nice feature, at least it makes me feel a little better whenever I imagine the mount for the camera pulling away from the helmet at 85 mph. which it hasn't done and hope never does.

Great value! You get a TON of stuff in the package. I did not use the curved or straight adhesive mounting bracket that comes with it , I used GoPros curved bracket and just attached the arm to that. The adhesive that comes with this does not seem as sticky as GoPros 3M. That's the only complaint I have. However, the curved arm is VERY sturdy thick plastic (the same as GoPros attachments) and I definitely trust it holding my GoPro. I love that you can bend and contort it anyway that works best for your helmet or whatever angle you're trying to film. I've used it on multiple rides and so far it's great! 😊
