I was concerned that my refrigerator and freezer weren't keeping the correct temperature. This put my mind at ease. It reads the temperature quickly. I would have taken a star away because the instructions for setting min and max and alarms was hard to understand. However, I am giving them 5 stars anyway because the seller had very good communication when I asked for help with the instructions. Their English is not the best, but they are friendly and really try to help. The wireless feature works flawlessly. I am impressed. The sensors are in a closed, metal refrigerator and yet they maintain contact with the base continuously - three rooms away from the kitchen! I am very impressed by that.

I bought this for use in our RV so I could keep an eye on how well the fridge and freezer were working, and I have been very happy with it. The 2 senders each use 2 AA batteries and the display unit uses 2 AAA batteries. The batteries last a very long time and I have been using the same ones for well over a year. The senders have a good range so I can locate the display unit anywhere in the RV, and the sending unit has a magnetic back so I can stick it up next to any metal that can hold a magnet and not worry about it.
The displays seem accurate enough and displays in both F and C, depending upon your setting. There is also an alarm if the temperatures get too low and a clear button that allows you to erase the history information. All in all this is a very nice fridge thermometer for the price.

These thermometers work fine but put them in the refrigerator or freezer till they stabilize before setting them up (setting the alarms) or you will have to do it again. I had to stretch the springs in all the sending units before the batteries would contact both terminals. After that, they worked fine. The main unit springs were ok. If they won't change temperature, you have to remove all the batteries for about a minute to reset them - but leave them where they will be used.
