Didn't interfere with rear bicycle luggage rack mounts.

Well-made (cast metal?) substitute for OEM Schwinn and Instep bike trailer hitches. The original stamped steel Instep OEM coupler we have for our trailer has a much too large an outside diameter to permit safe connection to my bike with a rear luggage rack. This alternative connected to my rear axle without any interference from the rear luggage rack frame, and now permits me to use the trailer.
