Wow! Great 'little' thrower. Throws far, consistently, with nice long cord and foot pedal. We didn't find a need for the remote during our first use. We went through about 250 rounds without a single misfire or broken clay.

Of note, we used a small 12v battery that is the size for a motocycle or server battery & it threw them all without an issue.

This trap is very well built and worked flawlessly for the first 100 clays. I look forward to shooting off this machine and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to shoot clays from just about any imaginable set up.

Assembles easy, well built and loads of fun. I pick up a marine battery to power it and it's still going strong after putting 3 cases of clays through it. My only dislike is because now I'm going through shells and reloading supplies way faster :)

Have not operated it yet but 1st review: Unit seems to be well built. When attaching the hand nut to the mainspring bolt while taking up the slack in the main spring the hand nut kept hitting the bracket support bar (no enough clearance). Since most people will be transporting this unit it would be nice if an additional template mimicking the horse shoe bracket at the top were included with short studs protruding from it that would slide into the bottom of the support tubes so the assembly would remain ridged during transport. Without something like this I can see the "magazine assembly being damaged during transit, I am going to make one. There is an 8" riod with a hook end included that is the same Dia. as the "throwing arm path indicator support", there is no explanation as to what this would be used for.
