Great reusable toy with popping color, but cleanup can be tough...

My grandson had a lot of fun with this!
My grandson is 2, and he has a lot of fun playing with this. He loves how the colors pop (so does grandma). I do love how the colors clean off and you can re-use the toy.
The colors are tough to get off, however. You must use a cleaner and even then there is residue. Kids don't care, but if you're uptight like me, it will bug you.
The colors do come off onto your hands...so be prepared for some hand-washing when little ones are done with this.
All in all, this is a fun toy, and I love how the colors pop, but wish they washed off of the plastic (and hands) more easily.

I hope the product is fine...it was delivered in the product packaging, not an Amazon box. The box edges are all damaged and both ends were open. This is supposed to be a gift and I'm kind of embarrassed to give this to my niece and her family...very disappointed!
It'll be a hit with little ones!

My ten yr old son saw it the first time I got it out. It took all of ten minutes for him to ask if he could play with it! I showed him how to use it for 5 minutes and I haven't seen it since he drew the first thing and showed it to me. It really is pretty cool, the drawings show up so bright against the black background. If my 10 year old likes it this much, I think smaller ones are just going to love it!

Lit Up Pictures Look Dazzling . . . .

This is a fabulous drawing tablet. Anything a child draws with the included brightly colored Gel FX markers looks wonderful when it's lit up. You can also make the light flash. It's large enough for two small kids to draw on at the same time, too. Moreover, it's not difficult to be held, or to draw with the tablet up or down on a surface. (The two feet on the bottom keep it propped up nicely, if needed.) In addition, the black backboard can be pulled out, a picture inserted on top of it, and pushed back down for the child to trace the picture, and then remove it. Cleaning off the surface is not difficult, either. Replacement pens are readily available and not expensive--Crayola 8 Count Gel FX Washable Markers - 2 Packs. There seem to be a lot of reviews saying there were dried up pens in those marker packs, though. A 5-year-old artist told me the pens with this set would dry up if she left the caps off, but they would work again after dipping them in water.

So my daughter likes this, but it isn't without it's flaws. First off the markers it comes with don't last that long and you need special markers it says for the board so I'll have to order more. Second, the board has 2 feet on the bottom that fold out but they really don't support it at all so those are useless. Overall it's a great idea, it just didn't work well for us.
