I bought an activation code to renew a subscription. It was about $20 cheaper on amazon so I thought I'd try it even though some of the reviews made me hesitate. Purchased, got the activation code in an email, opened the activate link, pasted the code, followed the install instructions. The installer had to uninstall my old version first and that took a while, but from purchase to complete installation was about forty minutes. Seems to be working as smoothly as my older version and the process was only one added step through amazon. I'll echo the review that said be patient and read everything. It's not complicated and I recommend it for the savings, but don't rush.
