Not good for rocks

I bought these because I wanted some new colors. I paint words on rocks using Sharpie fine tip oil based markers but Sharpie doesn't have as big of an assortment of oil colors. However, I won't be using these for my rocks. The tips are very fine, which is nice, but they make unexpected globs of paint, splatter and the ink doesn't come out evenly. They might work OK if you are doing dots but to write words on rocks just isn't going to work with these.

Paint is like water... I'm an automotive painter with over 25 years experience. and this paint is just above water... THREE coats on a ROCK and it still doesn't cover.... VERY disappointed for $23!!!
