I was under the impression this item would expand or contract to fit your mowers width, it does not and thankfully it's an almost exact fit for my back end. So please measure before buying if that worries you. It's fiddly to put together but feels sold and easynto transport about the home and garage.
I was told to lift on the side away from oil dip stick so oil will not flow into carburetor.

I like it very much. I use it to clean from underneath. Very handy. I would not get completely under mower without placing lift jacks for safety reasons.

I use this device to lift my riding mower to wash underneath the deck and to change the blades. The width is a bit too exact to get the mower wheels on the lift. If it were a half inch wider it would have made a better fit.

Mowers with wider back tires can only be lifted by front wheels. My JD LA115 will lift at the back. The D120/130 are front wheel lift. I modified a 3/4" socket to replace the manual lift crank so I can use a power driver to lift.
