Awesome chiller
Dave Oh✓ Verified Purchase•July 11, 2023
Use this 1Hp chiller for my cold plunge and very impressed with the capacity of cooling larger amounts of water. My tank is 110 gallon and it handled it with ease. It has no pump so be sure to add a pump to your set up. I added a 2500 gph pump and this chiller handles it with no issue.
Great for ice bath.

Originally bought the 1/2 hp and it was either not working or not strong enough. I returned and got this one and man it works great so far.
Best Chiller I've Ever Owned

This is a real review, not paid. I bought the 1hp chiller along with a variable inline fan to help vent the unit as it's in my garage with the door open. I won't lie. If you spend this much money for a chiller, it better be worth it and in my case it has been.
My suggestions. Buy an additional fan and keep air flow around the chiller as high as possible.
Also - and you may not realize this when you buy it. It requires a powerful pump. You will buy said pump because the chiller requires it, just don't try and use the outflow to increase the overall flow of your hydro system! Even with thirty gallon containers connected via 3" pvc without any root obstructions in the lines, this pump will still overflow whatever container you put the outflow line in! 4" PVC *might* be large enough but I wouldn't risk it.
Anyway, hands down this is the best chiller I've ever owned. Full stop.
