They do work but use towels!

I purchased these to help keep my hair clean after a surgery. I knew I wouldn't be able to shower & these seemed to be the best reviewed for the price point. They work & did leave my hair feeling clean but they are pretty wet when you put it on your head & water does drip out of them if you don't have it all the way on. I just put a towel over my shoulders before using & that fixed any type of discomfort that would come with getting wet. For the elderly these would be great in making them feel refreshed without all the hassle of a full shower

I got these for my mother when she visits me as she can't get into my shower. She sits on a chair and I pop me of these on her head and giver how a towel for around her shoulders and a wash cloth for over her eyes (easier than it sounds). She like how it feels even though she's wearing the cap. When done, take off the cap, towel dry, and style as usual. It leaves her hair feeling soft and looking very pretty (it's white). Her hair is very short so I don't know how it would be for longer hair.
