This is my third baby - here is context.

First baby - nursed for 4 months because I ended up with mastitis turned abscess, lead to failed drainage, which lead me to the ER, then to the OR next morning. Where I then was left with an open wound for a week to drain. Now left with two scares and traumatized to ever nurse again (also tried every pump and lactation consultant suggestion to the point where I feel like I can be a certified lactation consultant myself)

Second baby- didn't want what happened with first baby to happen again BUT had milk come in and decided to stick to pumping, but STILL ended up with mastitis 3 weeks in a row.

Third baby- midwife saw my history and said that I have thick milk, which is nutritious BUT hard to come out, so make sure you buy sunflower lecithin (she said I didn't have to buy this brand but this is the one she used). I bought it, started to take it after baby was born and now almost 3 months later... NEVER AN ISSUE!!!

I did have a clogged duct the first two weeks (twice) followed the instructions on the label (take 3-4 if duct is clogged) and I nursed and hand express in the shower with warm water... and DONE and DONE, seriously... if you have thick milk or a history of mastitis or clogged ducts... this is a MUST HAVE!

I've been very good at taking 2 a day, randomly, sometimes with meals sometimes not, and even forgot a few times, but not an issue. Take it with peace mommas! You got this!

I used to use the NOW brand, but they were out of stock and I rely on sunflower lecithin to prevent clogs, so I ordered these in a pinch even though they were pricier. They actually work better than the other brand! I'm very impressed. I have been able to wean almost cold turkey without getting bad clogs. When I feel one coming on, I take one extra pill per day and it goes away.

OMG! If you get plugged ducts you must buy this! I was getting at least one horribly painful clogged duct per week, sometimes once a day!!!! Since using this product 2 months ago I have only had one plugged duct that resolved after a few hours instead of DAYS!!

After taking it only a few times I could feel how easy it was to massage out a clog. Initially I took it how it instructs but then took it once a day to prevent clogs. Def something to keep on hand for breastfeeding mommas

No soy de escribir reviews pero este es la excepción. Cuando empecé a buscarlo ya tenía un grado alto de mastitis y estaba con antibióticos y masajes, poniéndome compresas calientes y pasando por muchisisismo dolor. El día que me llego lo primero que hice fue tomarlo, después antes de dormir por lo cual decidí tomar 2 al día pero al día siguiente de las 2 primeras dosis ya mi seno con mastitis se sentía aliviado y no sentía las bolas de leche obstruidas, al día siguiente para mi 4 dosis ya me sentía super bien, de hecho no terminé el antibiótico porque siento que iba más saludable para mi y mi bebe lo natural. RECOMENDADA 100% de mis mejores inversiones.
