A great portable stand

For a folding bike repair stand, this thing is pretty stable. Years ago, I was a professional bike mechanic, then I changed my career and my bike mechanic gig took a back seat. However, periodically, I have friends and family who knew I was a bike mechanic and asked me to work on their bikes. I bought this stand after looking for a simple folding model and this is the one I chose. I love it. I can adjust the height, the attitude of the bike and adjust the clamp that holds the frame. I'm impressed and I feel there's nothing I can't do to a bike while using this stand. To me, it's perfect for my periodical weekend garage bike repair shop.

Reasonably easy to assemble, sturdy bike stand. Bit of a challenge with a step-thru bike but that is true of any bike stand I've seen. Remarkably sturdy for the money. Holds my 55 pound Electra Townie 8i Go! easily once I lift it up there! Drop bar bike may require 2 people, one to hold and one to lock the lever. Easy to use levers like quick release levers on your bike wheels. I'm getting too old to crawl around on the floor working on my bike. This stand is a backsaver.

Used to do bike repairs with my bike turned upside down but I'm older now and my back doesn't like that. This was very easy to setup and if you've used bike quick-release axles before it's simple to use. Derailleur and brake adjustments are much easier now. Little bit stiff folding the legs up, but nothing major.
