No size numbers stamped on zipper sliders, The #8 is identical in size to retail jacket size #5 zippers so easily confused or wrong size used. A diagram came with package but is easily overlooked and not enough stoppers given, they really couldn't have cost much so some extras would have been nice - small and easy to loose and not all that easy to install accurately unless you have some experience or practice, not a difficult task but they are tiny and difficult to manipulate with larger fingers. This is a nice product for the price.

I am not savvy by any means when it comes to this type of thing. I watch a quick two minute video on replacing Zipper heads and was able to do it. Super easy. Only complaint was the zipper heads do not say the size on them. The middle size is the #5 which is most common for sweatshirts. Absolutely would buy again if needed although I have enough zipper heads now to make many future repairs.

I am a double amputee and I installed zippers in the inside of my jeans to make it easier for me to get them on and off. A local sewing professional wanted $50 per pair of jeans to do this.! I did several of them, myself, in a couple of hours, and I spent less than $50 on all of them, together.! If you need a zipper, and you need a variable length, you can't go wrong with this.. The kit is perfect, has everything you need, and it is easy to use..! I did watch a couple videos on the internet before I started.. But overall it was a great afternoon experience.!

I purchased this package to fix two guitar gig bags that had broken zippers. Once you can get the end of the zipper undone, it's quite fast to install a new zipper pull and use an end stop to secure it. Lots of pieces in this package. So, for the cost of this item I was able to make two gig bags usable again. Probably saved me $50-$60 dollars and I have tons of zippers to use in the future. Well worth the price.

Where I live we get maybe a month's worth of use out of a winter coat and I broke the zipper on mine last year. I just could not bring myself to buy another coat because of how little it gets used and it was perfectly fine other than the zipper. My mom is super crafty and she was going to fix it for me but when she saw it she knew she did not have the pieces she needed. I didn't know that these pieces could be replaced and learning that I thought it would be better to have some spares laying around since zippers are usually what goes on my bags and clothes so I purchased this set of various zipper replacement parts.

This zipper replacement kits comes with 3 different sizes of zippers in black and silver plus bottom and top stoppers in various sizes. It also comes with a pair of pliers. All of the hardware was in a single ziplock bag, which doesn't bother me since it was all going to go into the bottom of a drawer anyways. The pliers have a cone-shaped bag over the head to help protect it and keep the oils on it so they do not rust.

My mom was able to fix my coat and said that it was pretty easy. It zips up and down just fine now though it is currently in the 100's at the moment so I am not going to give it a good wear for a while. I have a purse and a hoodie that I am going to get her to fix next. I am happy to know that these items can be fixed.

Please check your sizing before ordering. I would also highly suggest checking out some videos on YT if this will be your first replacement to ensure you are getting the right sizes and that it is something you feel you are capable of doing.
