I bought this tent at the beginning of 2021 because I wanted to try backpacking. I picked this one because I wanted something light, but didn't want to spend a ton of money because I wasn't sure if backpacking was going to be something that I enjoyed.
This ended up being a great tent for a beginner. I used this tent for a night in the Porcupine Mountains, and then about eight nights in Pictured Rocks.
This tent has been great. Setup and takedown is super easy and it feels solid once everything is set. My only complaint is that this tent doesn't have a ton of ventilation and tends to get some condensation buildup.

The tent has a tub style bottom which is great for a storm. The included poles seem pretty sturdy but they dont seem to have a positive stop at the end of the extension. Not a big deal, just remember to stop where it says stop. My scale put the tent and stakes at 2lb 13oz. That's just over half the weight of my last backpacking tent.
Lightweight, packable, spacious, and easy to set up

My son and I used this tent to camp out the day after Christmas. While the temperature was not favorable the tent was easy to set up, kept the wind off of us and was spacious enough for the purpose.
If you are looking for a lightweight 2 man tent, this is a great product and huge value.
