I'm just a beginner, untrained. This is a nice, affordable kit for anyone doing smaller-scaled projects. I, however, started right away on a HUGE canvas, got halfway into it, only to realize what a neophyte I am! Obviously I was very foolish and wasteful, as a canvas this size requires so much more paint than there is here. That said, I did really like the way the paint moved, retaining its vibrancy throughout. I like how the tubes aren't tiny, so you get a fair quality of paint to work with; however, I suggest you buy an additional large tube of white for blending because this one smaller tube probably won't be nearly enough. Great set!
