I'm not mechanically minded so I had a bit of a time understanding the visual, not written, instructions.... but with a bit of help from my husband & our trusty battery operated drill/screwdriver, we put it together in little time. The dishes & other items are very nice; not junky. It's light enough to pick up & move, but stable enough that the kids won't easily knock it over. It's not what I call top quality, but it's colorful, interesting & the grandkids love it.
Some annoyances, but no dealbreakers.

Be warned, there are no screw holes"”you are expected to force the screws into the plastic, which in some areas is"¦not fun, to say the least, especially when it needs to be at a specific angle or there's a little ledge in the way of the screwdriver. The directions aren't super clear at times, so you may want to have YouTube pulled up when you get ready to start assembling it. There were a few dirty/scuffed looking spots on it in several different places when it arrived, possibly in part because the box had a hole ripped in it when it was delivered. However, my daughter absolutely loves the finished product, it's not too heavy to move around as needed, and it's really cute. If I had it to do over again, I still would.
