Very easy to clean, even if the paint dries a bit. I've had oil-based enamels go nearly hard in these and wiped them out with a rag that had a little mineral oil on it just fine.
The center area is great for placing the business end of loading brushes.
The pots around the edge are large enough to hold quite a bit of paint when you're mixing custom colors.
I bought twelve. I've made five models since. I'm still on my first one of these.
I thought there's be a more "disposable" aspect to them, but I'm guessing I've pretty much got a lifetimes supply of small palettes now.

I have many of these. We use them at birthday parties put a cupcake in the middle with different toppings in the holes. we also use them to paint of course. I also use them with a lump of play doh in the middle with different Mr. potato and Mrs. potato head eyes and nose and ears and the kids can decorate their own face
