I love ordering tests from Let's get checked. I'm so happy they are also on Amazon! It's a super simple process for getting your health checked at home. They have really clear step by step instructions on how to take your test. Everything you need is included in the kit. When you finish your test you just ship it back in the envelope they provide. Make sure you fill out all the information on the sample bag! And don't forget to activate your test! For collecting the blood sample, I find that my blood flow is better after I wash my hands with warm water and keep my hand below heart level.

The blood vial was challenging to fill, but I did so with 1 finger prick from 1 lancet. What worked for me was to lower my pricked finger (rest arm by my side) and the blood started flowing freely.

Once filled, I chose to drop packaged sample off at UPS, vs scheduled pick-up. It was so easy.

Received notification when the lab received my sample, and they estimated 2-3 day turnaround for results.

I tested Wed AM and had my results Fri AM. It was a super quick 48 hours from blood sample to results.

I'm thrilled we finally have an option for at-home testing TSH levels. In 6 weeks, once my dosage levels off, I will test again using the thyroid antibody test.

(I didn't have an issue getting the blood out. Just warm up your hands and maybe do a little exercise before you attempt)

Kit worked great got my results in a timely manner and there was a complications with collection and they are sending me a new kit for free to get full results. Do not fill passed the second line though or the sample is to concentrated to get the third result for this test.

I just took the test this morning so no results yet, but I wanted to say that it was NOT difficult to fill up the vial. Someone posted a picture of the vial and it looks huge, but it isn't -- it's quite tiny. The bottom 1/3 is actually a chemical that you will mix with the blood when you are finished. The fill line is well under the rings for the cap. It took me about 10 minutes and 3 finger pricks to fill it, and that was because I was taking my time and allowing the blood a chance to get down to my fingers. Also, do what it says in the directions and make sure you drink a large glass of water 30 minutes before the test. If you are dehydrated, you won't have good blood pressure and won't be able to get the blood to flow as easily. If you just don't want to deal with any of this then go have someone stick you with a needle at a proper lab. But for me, this was worth the effort and not a big deal at all. I will amend my review once I get the results, for now I'm giving it 5 stars, because, what an incredible thing to have access to without having to beg your PCP to get a test you know you need.

UPDATE: I took my test Tuesday, and received my results today (Friday). The pre-paid box was UPS "next day" air, and it went to New York. That was so fast, very impressed! I even got a call from one of their nurses because my results were abnormal (very high TSH). On to my PCP now, armed with actual evidence. (PCP didn't want to test me for thyroid issues and simply said I'm likely tired because I'm overweight).
