I checked DESA's website to verify the proper part number for this item and discovered it had been updated since mine had been produced. I'm not sure how they managed to get 2 capacitors and 1 resistor to take the place of all the components on the original board, but it works. Switched the board and the heater lit on the first try with 10+ year old kerosene. Happy camper! Here's a helpful hint. When troubleshooting these heaters, be very careful when handling the ignitor. They will break with even a slight impact.
