I just received these so I can't comment on their durability. However my first impression is, they are great and they fit well. Because they were folded for shipment it took a few hours for them to lie flat. I tuck them between the arm and the seat itself and they stay put. They have substance and are not flimsy. I expect to have these for many years.

I'm using this item to cover up the arm of my double recliner love seat because, as a smoker, I ruined the arm of the chair with burn holes. This covers the arm of the chair perfectly and looks so stylish and so beautiful. It wasn't the usual cheapo thing I get on Amazon but it is worth every dollar! I love the vibrant colors of blue and brown. The fabric texture is rich looking and feels like quality material. The tassels add a touch of elegance. I bought these with a bit of hesitation not wanting cheap material that wouldn't last and also the tassel's or fringes are a bit different but that was my bad. However they do feel durable, they do not slip and they do add color while still serving the purpose of protecting the arm rests. I ordered two different styles as you can see, so be aware of the difference. Still a very good choice instead for throwing a towel on the arm rest.

The arm protectors are beautiful and enhance the overall Tuscan look that I was wanting. The protectors are thick and soft and backed with a slip resistance material. Our chairs are quite large and a longer size would be nice but that was not offered. I am using these for head protectors as well.
