Great field monitor in terms of connectivity, options in cabling, price, and performance. The quality is very, very good, the display is brightly lit and sharp. The menu options are quick to respond and work effectively. This monitor offers all the professional features of higher end brands but for a fraction of the price. USB port. Headphone jack for 3.5 mm cables for private listening but also has built in audio and speakers so I can hear it from the monitor, and clearly. Sunshade fits and effectively blocks out sun rays so I can see and shoot comfortably outdoors. The hdmi input connects it to my camera flawlessly. The bracket for the hot shoe is turnable so I can direct it any way I need to. The magic arm is great, it works super well with my T bar stand. Flexible to use and has a swivel mount as well. The li-ion battery charges fast and lasts in the monitor all day. Makes it so much easier to see what I'm doing when I film, great to have.Â

View finder works great! Awesome resolution! The features are far better than I anticipated. The price really doesn't match with how well the monitor works. The picture display is not only bigger but matches with the same resolution of my camera but it's brighter and more vivid with higher detailing. My eyesight isn't the best these days with my camera screen and this external monitor takes all those troubles away. I can see what I'm shooting and playback. The volume is well enough that I don't need to wear headphones but there's a jack if I want to. The sun shade works really well for me outdoors. I shoot videos of the birds in my yard and it hoods over it so I can see better. Portable thanks to the chargeable battery, the charger juices it up fast so I can take it with me to the park. The magic arm is very flexible and fits nicely onto my t bar tripod with the monitor on top and sturdily holds them up. This kit has worked really well for me and I can assure it'll do the same for you.

Works great for viewing what you are filming. I use it to more easily view soccer games I am filming. It is far superior ro viewing on my dslr's built in screen or viewing through the view finder.

This item works great when doing video or photography alone. I've used it several times with no issues. Order an extra battery or two, though. It tends to eat through them more quickly than expected. All in all, a good purchase.

It's a great monitor. Nice color, definitely helps out when shooting to see beyond your view finder. My biggest disappointment was the "magic arm" which just doesn't seem to lock off well enough. I have to balance the monitor so that it slightly leans on whatever it gets mounted too. I'm looking into a 15mm tube option to make it a much more rigid mount. When I'm shooting, the camera had a tendency to wobble and start to fall. It's just the mount, the camera itself is great. The hood works fine, the mount that comes with the magic arm comes is REALLY handy. All in all it's a good buy. Another option I want is the AC adapter. The battery is great, lasts a long time. I'm just over cautions abut when I'm shooting an interview, I don't want to worry about the battery.
