I was pretty amazed at the size when I got these. They are bigger than your typically carabiner, but look fantastic. I still use them for my keys and you can barely use 1" key rings with them.
I prefer these as they do have practical use in emergency situations. The locking feature is different than what I'm used to but after 1 day I'm already getting the hang of it (no pun intended).
I'm hoping the paint holds on for a long time as I'm sure that'll be the first thing to break down.

Carabiners look pretty cool! Aren't the strongest and definitely would not use for climbing or anything to that extent. But! For every day purpose and using to tie dogs out will get the job done!
